In a video that went viral, the representative of the Public Ministry tells a relative of the deceased, that “she was already dead and there would be nothing to do”, as an explanation of her controversial actions.
The deceased was identified as Karen Adriana Maciel, 29 years old, who died when she was run over by a vehicle commanded by Lucio Javier Barrios Martínez, on February 14 in Piribebuy, Department of Paraguarí.
Karen’s relatives even made a report of her disappearance, until they found out that the girl had died a month ago.
