The Mayor’s Office of La Paz denounced this Wednesday that a municipal guard was attacked by a minibus driver when he tried to penalize the carrier for parking on a two-lane avenue. The official was pushed and fell on the asphalt amid protests from passers-by for and against the operation.
In the video shared by the Municipality, it is observed that the driver of a blue minibus gets upset when two municipal guards proceed to staple his motorized vehicle, so, to prevent it, he pushes the official until she falls.

At that moment, another guard stands in front of the driver and the voices around him sound louder: “if they have already given him a ticket, how are they going to staple him?”
The publication of the Mayor’s Office indicates that the driver of the minibus with control plate 2975-BCY threw the official Mabel T. to the pavement, when she sanctioned him for parking in a double lane.
“Gabriel Chiara Mollehuanca must respond to the Law in a criminal proceeding,” it reads.
The leaders of the drivers have rejected that version and announced that it will be pronounced this Thursday.
