That was the case of Jennifer Arias, already a former congresswoman from the Democratic Center, who was president of the Chamber and in recent months is remembered for the case of plagiarism in her master’s thesis at the Externado de Colombia University,

“For now I want to rest, I have been in this (politics) for 13 years and I feel tired. I want a space for myself”, Arias told RCN Radio at the time.

Arias, who is being investigated by the Supreme Court of Justice for plagiarism in her master’s thesis, He added that he has other projects in mind and in his personal life.

The former congresswoman has denied on several occasions that she had cheated on her degree work. In that sense, she indicated that the University never heard her testimony of the facts before making the plagiarism case public.

This week Arias published a video about his achievements in the House of Representatives and sent a farewell message after completing his four years in Congress.
