Pedro Miguel González, former deputy and member of the Democratic Revolutionary Party, reacted on the morning of this Friday, October 28, to the current management of the government, the appointment of magistrates, the recently approved General State Budget 2023 and the political situation within the group.
Regarding the management of some members of the Cabinet, highly criticized by the public, Pedro Miguel González, stated that he believes that currently President Laurentino ‘Nito’ Cortizo “feels comfortable, at least that is what the facts have shown. He feels comfortable with the team with which he is working ».
He indicated that this is not a PRD government nor is it genuinely Torrijista, but they have to pay the price. “People talk about the PRD and its government, but the reality is that this has been the government of a few who, supported by the party, reached the leadership of the government.”
On the other hand, regarding the possible candidacy of the Vice President of the Republic, José Gabriel ‘Gaby’ Carrizo, he expressed that “if this candidacy is finally imposed, it would be the surest path to defeat and an overwhelming path to the 2024 elections.”
He considered that Carrizo and those who are by his side should reconsider that “wait another moment, because this is not your moment.”
“Pretending to impose that candidacy would be a definitive defeat for the PRD, because without a doubt it has a great wear and tear, caused by that bunch of advisers who were by its side who did not wait for good management to be done and then see the 2024 elections , they exposed it from the beginning being a political target and there are the results, “he stressed.
