[Video] Cyclist died after being hit by a driver, apparently drunk

What was a morning of recreation and sport in the Atlantic ended in tragedy due to the fatal combination of drinking and driving. Around 8 in the morning a 67-year-old amateur cyclist died after being hit by a vehicle that Apparently it was driven by a subject in a state of intoxication.

The road accident occurred on the Vía al Mar, at the height of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Saints of the Last Days, where a group of amateur cyclists was surprised by a vehicle that ran over one of their companions.

The deceased cyclist was identified as Luis Fernando Cortaza Ávila, 67 years old. What has caused special outrage in this case is that, according to witnesses, the driver, after running over the cyclist, fled.

However, Corttaza’s companions caught up with him and stopped him. Precisely videos of that moment were known, in which it is evident that the people in that vehicle were under the influence of alcohol, and you even see a subject in a purple shirt, and another without a shirt, obviously drunk, watching what was happening.
