A report from the National University published a couple of years ago revealed that of the thousands of cases of coexistence problems in Transmilenio, at least 43% of them end in assault both physical and verbal, an alarming figure, given that practically half of the occasions when there is an inconvenience, a conflict arises.

And although the authorities of Bogotá constantly call for tolerance and citizen culture, in public settings such as Transmilenio it is evident that the city is far from being an example in this matter. Anyone who regularly uses this transportation system can see all kinds of situations and conflicts.
This Tuesday a situation that perfectly demonstrates the scenario described above went viral. A Transmilenio passenger recorded how two women, far from any kind of civility, grabbed each other with blows, and even hairall for staying with a chair within the articulated.
“I just took a Transmilenio route k43 to my house and two ladies messed up for a position. That’s how Transmilenio is now stabbing robberies etc. Claudia López’s wild Bogotá! Mayor please work,” the citizen wrote.
Although it is already reprehensible that the two women hit each other for such an insignificant fact, it is also striking that absolutely no one does anything about it:
