This week began with news that made many people happy in the country. President Duque announced that The use of masks will no longer be mandatory in closed spaces or in open spaces, as had already been decided a few months ago. However, there will be some exceptions to prevent a recurrence increase in coronavirus cases.

“(The mask) is going to be removed with the exception of health services, nursing homes, transportation and enclosed spaces within educational facilities“, affirmed the president.

These measures will be applied in municipalities that have reached 70% of double dose anticovid and have at least 40% of its inhabitants with the booster dose or third dose.
