The Toronto F.C. announced this Friday the signing of the Spanish Victor Vazquezwho in this way will return to the team with which he won the MLS Cup in 2017.
“I am very happy to return home,” said the midfielder in a statement released by the Canadian team.
“I’m looking forward to seeing you all again and playing in front of all of you on those special nights at BMO Field. We’re going to have fun and get the club back to the top where it belongs,” he added.

In these two seasons, the Spaniard added 5 goals and 11 assists in 57 games.
The Galaxy, in which the Spanish also plays Riqui Puigfell this year 3-2 in the semifinals of the Western Conference of the MLS Cup against their great rival, Los Angeles F.C. (LAFC).
“We are excited to have a player like Victor joining the team and bolstering our midfield depth,” Toronto coach Bob Bradley said.
“He is a talented player with great knowledge of the game, an excellent passer, and he brings experience and creativity to our midfield.”
vazquez He lived one of his sweetest stages as a professional soccer player in Toronto from 2017 to 2019 with 18 goals and 28 assists in 65 games.
The Spaniard was key to the success of the Canadian team in 2017, when they scored the MLS Cupthe MLS Supporters’ Shield and the Canadian Championship.
Formed in the Barcelona youth academy, Vázquez has also gone through football in other countries such as Belgium, Mexico or Qatar.
