Sergio Ferreira and his two adolescent sons, ages 16 and 13, were shot to death last night in the Tacuarendyju indigenous community, located 15 km from the urban center of the town of Jorge Sebastián Miranda, Paso Barreto district, Concepción department.
According to the police report, the author is a man who wore a camouflaged shirt with blue jeans and a long weapon.
The complaint was made by the victim’s concubine, who reported that around 7:00 p.m. a subject arrived at her home, who asked her about Ferreira, because he supposedly wanted to hire him for a job.
The woman explained that her partner had gone hunting and indicated the direction in which she went. The subject looked for him and a few meters away several shots were heard and several cries for help.
The case is in charge of the prosecutor María Ester Giménez, from Penal Unit 2 of Concepción. She is also from the Yby Yaú Criminalistics Department. The weapon used in the triple homicide is presumed to be a shotgun.
