“Venezuelans have shown that we are integrated into all the protection and defense systems of the territory and peace,” said the vice president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during her tour of the mountain barracks, one of the points of Caracas, where the special military exercises were held this Saturday.
«We are again attending to the call of President Nicolás Maduro, to prepare to get ready. Today he touched the entire line of the control, communication command line. Of all levels, organizational, with our communal circuits, of our municipal, state, national territory, ”he said.
Rodríguez said that it has been very clear that Venezuelans will never surrender and that the government will not attend to any other order other than that of the Venezuelan people.
He indicated that there is a single line in case they dared to assault Venezuela, the Venezuelan people “are organized, ready, prepared and enlisted to defend the peace of our homeland.”
He stressed that Venezuela is not a country that is threatening, but a country that respects international laws, which addresses other countries with brotherhood, cooperation, with friendship.
«We do not threaten any people, nor do we hurt any people and from this country of peace, such as Venezuela, the Venezuelan people are permanently activated to defend peace and tranquility; guarantee our future of peace, ”he said.
Rodríguez said that those who want aggression against Venezuela “will not be able to”, since they are going to find such an impregnable wall of the will and fierceness of the people that will defend peace.
He added that we are in Christmas times. “We are in harmony collectively, in our families, to feel in greater national union for the defense of Venezuela.”
Our recognition to Petro
The vice president recognized the courage of Colombian president Gustavo Petro. «For its clarity, for telling the truth; The peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, we are raising the flags of truth (…) Venezuela is not a country that has to do with narcotic relations ».
He pointed out that the United States has narcotic relations in its logistics, financial, border, internal connection system and said that not even the health system guarantees adequate policies to cure people with drug problems.
«They intend to solve their internal problems declaring war to other countries. Seeking to disturb tranquility and peace in an entire region. It is not only against Venezuela, it is against our entire continent, they seek to disturb, as they have done with the economic war, which generated migrant flows and well, disturbed stability in our region, and that of Venezuela. They seek to attack our people, ”he said.
However, he said that the Venezuelan people, despite the numerous situations he has faced, have had the capacity to recover to find their own recovery paths.
He stressed that Venezuelans are the inheritance of the Liberators and will not allow their homeland to be attacked.
