This Tuesday, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, delcy rodriguez He called on the President of Paraguay, Mario Abdo, to honor the debt he owes to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela before continuing in an “empty monologue.”
The call was made through his account on the social network Twitter from where he rejected the statements of President Abdo, who expressed his support for the actions of the European Parliament that approved a resolution that condemns what they describe as an “arbitrary decision”, the disqualification by Maria Corina Machado.
In this regard, it should be remembered that María Corina Machado was disqualified in 2015 due to her participation in guarimbas and violent acts in the country and for requesting sanctions against Venezuela.
The Vice President described responding to Mario Abdo as a waste of time.
“I did not want to waste my time in the III EU-CELAC Summit to answer the errands of the US in the person of @MaritoAbdo”, he emphasized. “I only remind you that before you leave the presidency, honor the debt,” said the Vice President.
It should be noted that the Paraguayan President’s statements were made during the III Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) and the European Union (EU) that takes place in Brussels, Belgium.
“I did not want to waste my time in the III EU-CELAC Summit to answer the errands of the US in the person of Mario Abdo. I only remind him that before leaving the presidency he honors the debt he has with Venezuela instead of his empty monologue. Venezuela will never bow down!” Rodríguez posted on Twitter.
Venezuela seeks dialogue between equals
In another message on the social network, Rodríguez reiterated in another message that Venezuela is in Brussels with a message of peace and in search of dialogue with equals.
“We come with a lot of hope and we bring the message of peace and harmony, of cooperation that should be the route that guides our countries,” he said.
