Delcy Rodríguez responded in this way to the interference of the member of the Spanish Congress, Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo, who issued false qualifications
The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, rejected that, once again, the Spanish far right is trying to come out in defense of its “lapdogs” in Venezuela, forgetting that we have been an independent country for more than 203 years.
Through a series of messages posted on her X account, Rodríguez responded to a series of epithets that Spanish congresswoman Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo issued against her, causing the vice president to call her a “marquise of fascism.”
“The marquise of fascism comes out in defense of her lapdogs in Venezuela. 203 years ago we expelled the Spanish colonizers from these lands. Today we are proud of not having allowed her to touch the sacred soil of Bolívar with her infamous extremism, cultivator of hatred,” wrote the vice president.
In another message, Rodríguez urged Álvarez de Toledo to educate himself in order to eliminate his “aristocratic ignorance.”
“They will never lay their fingers on dignified Venezuela!” he stressed.
The Venezuelan government has repeatedly denounced the interference of foreign governments, which issue opinions based on the lies that the Venezuelan far right has tried to impose on the international community, and the people of Venezuela and its government have denied it in every possible way.
