The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, confirmed this Monday that the dialogue is in a new phase, in which all factors are being incorporated. of the society.
“Right now we are in a period of reformatting of the Mexico dialogue to include more sectors, so that all of national life feels included and expressed in these dialogue mechanisms,” Rodríguez said during the installation of the Social Dialogue Forum, which will take place in Caracas until April 28.
During the activity – in which more than 120 representatives of the economic sector participate -, the Executive Vice President stressed that dialogue has always been part of the National Government, however, respect and tolerance are always requested from all the actors that participate in it.
“The word social dialogue appeals to a very important aspect in national life, which is the need for Venezuelans to meet in diversity, with respect, with tolerance,” he emphasized.
During the Social Dialogue Forum that will take place from this Monday, April 25 to next Wednesday, April 28, the National Executive will meet with representatives of the International Labor Organization (ILO) to discuss collective bargaining of the country’s working class.
In mid-March, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, explained the conditions of the “dialogue reformatting” requested by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
At that time, he stressed that among the conditions is an inclusive dialogue “where we can all be represented, where cultural media, fishermen, youth, economic sectors, workers, businesses, the so-called civil society, academic media, students, are included. among others. All sectors have the right to join the dialogue, to speak in that dialogue process.
