The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, arrived in India this Thursday night to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation with the Asian nation.
“We bring the greetings of President Nicolás Maduro and our commitment to consolidate the new world without hegemonism,” highlighted the senior State official on her social networks.
The vice president was received by authorities from the Indian Foreign Ministry and the Venezuelan ambassador accredited in New Delhi, Capaya Rodríguez, as well as part of that country’s diplomatic corps.
Venezuela and India have taken significant steps in strengthening their bilateral relations to expand cooperation such as trade, investments and the promotion of alternative energies. In addition, both countries have signed several agreements in the pharmaceutical and energy industries.
