Delcy Rodríguez: Venezuela overcame shortages

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, referred on Tuesday to the statements by Antony Blinken, Secretary of State of the United States (USA), about the electoral process in Venezuela.

Through a publication on his account on the social network Twitter, he expressed his rejection of the interventionist actions of the US government in matters that are the sole responsibility of the Venezuelan people, for which he stressed that “our people also want fair elections free of sanctions, in interference and aggression.

Rodríguez issued a response to the statements issued by Blinken, who this Wednesday referred to the holding of “free and fair” elections in the Bolivarian nation and alluded to the primary process organized by the national right-wing parties.

The Government led by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, stated that “the Venezuelan electoral process does not depend and will not depend on any foreign actor, Venezuela does not accept guardianship of any power or group of countries aligned with imperial reminiscences.”
