This was explained by the Vice Presidency in a release where he details the agenda of the vice president, who will be on the island from today Thursday until Saturday to “build alliances around common objectives such as regional integration, racial justice, environmental justice, gender equality, economic reactivation through tourism, air and sea connectivity, culture and peace”.

Her agenda in Havana will begin this Thursday with a visit to the Martin Luther King Memorial Center (CMMLK), where she will meet with members of the Afro movement in Cuba, Afro-Cuban social organizations and a group of Afro-Cuban women.
Later, he will officiate a floral offering in memory of Cuba’s national hero, José Martí, in the Parque 13 de marzo.
In addition, the official inauguration of the Havana Book Fair will be at the center of her visit, where she will offer a speech in the presence of the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, and will be accompanied by the Minister of Culture, Patricia Ariza, detailed the Vice Presidency. .
Colombia arrives as a guest country at this literary event with “25 writers of different genres, regions, ages and cultures; a bookstore with the most representative of Colombian literary production; a strip of cinema and an artistic exhibition”.
During Francia Márquez’s stay on the island, a Memorandum of Understanding for Binational Cooperation in Cultures, Arts and Heritage will also be signed.
On Friday night, Márquez will attend an opening gala at the National Theater of Cuba where artistic presentations by both Colombian and Cuban groups will take place.
