Vice President José Gabriel Carrizo heads delegation for the inauguration of Lula Da Silva

The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, appointed the Vice President and Minister of the Presidency, José Gabriel Carrizo, to lead the Panamanian delegation at the inauguration ceremony of Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva in Brazil.

The inauguration of the Brazilian president is on Sunday, January 1, in the capital of that country, Brasilia. The Vice President travels covering his airfare, lodging and food expenses.

As part of the Panamanian delegation at the highest level, Foreign Minister Janaina Tewaney will also attend the official acts in Brasilia. The Vice President returns to the country on Monday the 2nd.
