The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported this Saturday that she held a meeting with the metallurgical industrial sector within the framework of the National Council of Productive Economy.
“On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro we met with the metallurgical industrial sector within the framework of the National Council of Productive Economy. United Venezuela continues to move towards prosperity and development! ”, He wrote on his Twitter social network account.
The publication is accompanied by a video in which the executive vice president He highlighted the “significant improvement” in the effective rate of production (TSE), thanks to the dialogue that the Bolivarian Government maintains with the sector.
It has gone “from having an effective rate of protection, through tariffs and para-tariff policies, from 4% to 9%, and this year we expect to be at 11%.”
“In other words, that effective rate of protection has been improving significantly and we have achieved this by listening to you. And everything I have heard lets me know that we are in tune with the Economic Recovery program, and well, the intervention team that is currently in the CVG has only one line, it is not going back, it is not going back, it is moving forward and improve,” he added.
Therefore, Rodríguez reiterated the commitment of the Bolivarian Government in the development of the national industry.
“As they said ‘this is the industry of industries’ and the objective that we have set ourselves as a team, and that we have elevated to the president, is to be able to develop the national industry with Venezuelan raw materials,” he emphasized.
At the same time, he asked all the industries in the country to have “confidence in the public policies that will always be supportive so that Venezuela, I repeat, and its productive actors (…) can return to an extraordinarily positive balance at the end of this year 2023” , he concluded.
