Vice President exposes the far right before the diplomatic corps

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting this Thursday with the diplomatic corps accredited in the country to explain the recent actions carried out by the extreme right in the framework of the last presidential elections of July 28.

Accompanied by the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, Rodríguez reiterated that the country is facing an illegitimate and criminal blockade “by those who seek to blackmail and impose their worldview in our jurisdiction, in our territory, trying to ignore the sovereignty of the country, the self-determination of Venezuela.”

“Ten candidates participated in the electoral process, one of them a representative of the far rightand that is why we wanted to make a list of the signs that were showing the situation that generated violence and ignorance of the Public Powers in Venezuela,” he said.

He also recalled actions carried out by representatives of the far right before, during and after the presidential elections, indicating that they stated that they would recognize “their own records” of the process.

“They had planned not to recognize the results or the results bulletin that the Electoral Power is responsible for giving, but rather they would recognize their own minutes, which in Venezuelan law, have never in life been a source of totalization and proclamation to grant an elected office and much less the Presidency of the Republic, but they said it, July 18, ten days before the electoral event, ‘we will not recognize the results of the CNE’, but their own minutes,” he added.

He also confirmed that the actions of this sector showed that it never had “the sense, respect or abiding by the Electoral Power,” registering a website one day before the elections to publish its election results there, assuming powers that do not correspond to them.

“The orders they received from Washington, which was where the vulgar and massive fraud was planned by the extremism of Venezuela; once again their executors, their lackeys, did it very, very, very badly,” said Rodriguez.

One detail: Essequibo does not exist

Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez showed a very significant fact, and it is the fact that in the map of Venezuela that the extreme right showed to announce its alleged results of the elections of July 28, the Essequibo does not appear.

“They are simply mutilating the Essequibo – which belongs to Venezuela – because it is part of the agreements of the extremists to hand over our Essequibo Guayana, which is not going to happen either because the Essequibo belongs to Venezuela and that is a national consensus,” said the high-ranking official of the Venezuelan Government during a meeting with the Diplomatic Corps accredited in the country.

The only dictatorship is that of social media algorithms

The vice president recalled that the attacks against the electoral system were intended to prevent the totalization of the results on July 28 for their subsequent presentation in the bulletin of the National Electoral Council (CNE). However, she indicated that the entity is still under attack.

He explained that it was an unprecedented massive cyber attack in Venezuela, with “30 million attacks per minute, 500 thousand attacks per second,” led by businessman Elon Musk, owner of the social network X.

“The dictatorship of social media that seeks to replace the popular will of governments elected by their citizens. The only dictatorship here is that of social media, the dictatorship of algorithms, the dictatorship of large concentrations of capital in technology companies, which are at the forefront of promoting insurgencies, coups d’état, fascist attacks,” he said, warning about the threats posed by technology empires to the people.

Inconsistencies in the minutes of the extreme right

The vice president also pointed out the inconsistencies in the minutes presented by the extreme right, where “dead people appear voting,” according to the website set up by this sector, as well as the lack of data on members of tables, flat signatures, incomplete and illegible minutes.

On the other hand, Rodriguez insisted on the need to disseminate this information because “the censorship is such against Venezuela that what is in the international media are these fraudulent records as valid in a Web page which is not that of the Electoral Power.”

“The far-right candidate caused violence and is responsible for the deaths, for the violence to which he called, and his accomplice called for violence,” he stressed.

He also said that the people arrested for the acts of violence are confessing who paid them; they have US phone numbers on their cell phones, receiving instructions; “it seems that in this case the United States decided to directly take the reins of the criminals who were going to cause violence in the country.”

The Vice President highlighted the decision taken by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to appear before the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) with an electoral dispute to clarify the situation, but also to preserve the constitutional order in Venezuela, protect the Public Powers and safeguard the peace and tranquility of the people.

“What we are seeing here, beyond an electoral issue, is a coup d’état that has been contained by the wisdom of the Venezuelan people and because President Nicolás Maduro went before the TSJ,” he stressed. He added that they will be firm in defending Venezuela’s sovereignty.

He recalled that the former far-right candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia, has not gone to the TSJ to present the alleged records he would have on the process.
