The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, denounced the connection of the American mercenary Erick Prince and the leader of the extreme right, María Corina Machado, with the attacks suffered last week on the strategic infrastructure of PDVSA.
During a press conference held this Monday, the Minister of Petroleum also showed publications that Prince made on his social media accounts after the attacks and highlighted that with these the mercenary “rejoices in his actions.”
Likewise, he highlighted Machado’s connection with these hired killers who have been organizing incursions into our country with the intention of assassinating President Nicolás Maduro, civil and military authorities, and revolutionary leaders.
“Prince appears very portrayed with the terrorist María Corina Machado, who seems emboldened but left her followers in Venezuela and went to hide under Erick Prince’s pants,” he highlighted.
Detail attacks
Likewise, during her words, the vice president highlighted that the attacks sought to sabotage the National Electric System, the distribution of diesel and gas in the country.
In this sense, Delcy Rodríguez explained that the first attack It occurred on Sunday, November 10, in an oil and gas production field in the state of Zulia, where a grenade was thrown to prevent “the diet from being supplied” to the Paraguaná Refining Complex and stop fuel production in the country.
That same day in the afternoon a fire occurred in the Petro Cedeño improver in the east of the country where diesel is produced, “to leave without fuel at a time of harvest of important items for the food security of Venezuela.”
The third attack occurred on Monday, November 11 at 10:40 in the morning, when an event occurred in the heart of gas distribution in Venezuela, in the Muscar Complex in the state of Monagas.
“A malicious maneuver of running tools by a company external to PDVSA, with internal accomplices, caused a large-scale explosion in this infrastructure that distributes 80% of the gas to Venezuela. “In addition, they sought to affect oil and petrochemical production, basic companies and of course the electrical service in the east of the country,” he said while highlighting that 11 people have been detained due to this incident.
“11 people responsible for these criminal acts have been detained and are under investigation. There is a foreigner who left the country the same day that this malicious maneuver was carried out,” insisted the minister, who did not give details about his nationality or the identities of those arrested.
Likewise, Rodríguez assured that the anti-Venezuelan extremists who have plans to attack the hydrocarbon industry will encounter “the steel wall, invincible and indestructible that is the will and union of the Venezuelan people.”
