This Thursday, at the inauguration of the I International Health Fair (Fisven) Vice President Delcy Rodríguez ratified that “nothing stops Venezuela”, highlighting the promotion of national production with the joint participation of the public and private sectors, as well as the platform that the country has for the production of medicines.
“Thanks to the allied countries we have overcome the criminal blockade against Venezuela. Nothing stops Venezuela”, asserted the Vice President.
“We continue with technological development at the service of the people, a brave people who have been overcoming the blockade,” he added after touring the different stands of the Fair that expose the advances and innovations in health in the country.
In this regard, he highlighted the presence of drug-producing companies in Venezuela.
“Venezuela has one of the most complete platforms in South America for the production of medicines. We could practically produce all the medicines that the Venezuelan people need”, he pointed out.
In this sense, he pointed out that the blockade has given an important boost to national production, through a public purchase program, and offering affordable prices to the population.
Venezuela: undefeated people of peace
The occasion was propitious for Vice President Delcy Rodríguez to remember the strength of the Venezuelan people, stressing that they are a people of peace.
“Venezuela has shown to be a brave people, defeating the blockade,” he reiterated. In this sense, he recalled the inspiring reflection made this Wednesday by President Nicolás Maduro. “The blockade has not been able to and corruption will not be able to, an absolute fight led directly by the head of state,” Rodríguez said.
In this way, he ratified his admiration for the Venezuelan people “against whom nothing has been able, neither the external aggressors, nor the criminals who have stolen the nation’s heritage,” he said.
In this sense, he affirmed that they will continue along the path of joint work between the public and private sectors. “Here is the conjunction, public sector, private sector, a single Venezuela pushing towards the happiness of our people,” he said.

After touring the Fair together with representatives of more than 11 participating countries, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez stressed that the world revolves around a new geopolitics, a world far from hegemonies, exchanging knowledge.
“Thanks to cooperation with countries like Russia, a new world is taking shape. Related Venezuela exchanging knowledge and experiences, ”she added.
In this sense, he highlighted the new process that is being observed in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Likewise, Rodríguez recalled the countries that offered their support to the Venezuelan people in times of the pandemic: China, Russia, Cuba, Iran, Turkiye. And he pointed out that, while the countries that have had an inhumane policy against Venezuela denied the equipment, the tests, the vaccines, these countries that today form a new world offered their supportive hand to the country.
