Vice President defended Venezuela’s rights in the Netherlands and Qatar

Venezuela asks the ICJ to declare Guyana's claim inadmissible

The rights of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela were defended and represented during the work agenda carried out by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, for the Netherlands Y Qatar.

Rodríguez returned to Venezuela after completing a tour of the Netherlands and Qatar, he reported through his account on the social network Twitter.

Vice President Delcy Rodríguez thus ended her most recent official tour that took her to the Netherlands to defend Venezuela’s position on the Essequibo territory, in her presentation before the International Court of Justice.

He also visited Qatar, where he attended the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and met with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed Bin Zayed, with whom he reviewed the cooperation agenda.

He defended historical right over the Essequibo

About his intervention before the ICJVice President Rodríguez stressed that, with compelling evidence, the arguments presented by Guyana on a unilateral demand that does not make sense on the Essequibo were completely distorted.

“We are very satisfied with this first hearing because Venezuela has been able to bring and defend its historical truth, which is that Venezuela is the only heir with ownership on the territory of Guayana Esequiba, said the Vice President after her speech.

He added that Guyana’s fraud was exposed, due to the stingy position of that country that intends to take over the Essequibo territory.

Given the position of Guyana, which intends to violate the Geneva Agreement, the Vice President extended her hand “so that we return to the negotiating table and seek a solution. Venezuela has always been recognized for its Peace Diplomacy and we maintain good neighborly relations.”

Qatar: World Cup

After passing through the Netherlands, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, visited Qatar to attend the inaugural ceremony of the world Soccer 2022.

“We have arrived in Qatar for the opening ceremony of the world Football 2022. A great sporting event for the peoples of the world! We congratulate the Emir @TamimBinHamad and the people of Qatar for the extraordinary preparation of the first technological soccer world cup and we wish everyone success,” Rodríguez published on his account on the social network Twitter.

Tree of Dreams in Qatar

Similarly, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government, the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, accompanied the president of the South American Football Confederation (conmebol), Alejandro Domínguez, at the opening of the “Tree of Dreams”, as part of the Qatar Soccer World Cup.

In Doha, this space was officially inaugurated, which will be open to all fans who wish to learn about the history, essence and greatness of South American football, as part of the attractions for those who attend the most beautiful game of the sport.

The Tree of Dreams represents the roots of South American football, made up of three stages that show where the best players in the world come from, and that with stars like Pelé, Garrincha, Ronaldo, Maradona, Dorado, Shiaffino, among other legends, they have conquered nine world cups for Conmebol.

Cooperation ties with Qatar

During the official visit to Qatar, the Vice President reinforced bilateral cooperation ties, as part of the Peace Diplomacy promoted by the Venezuelan revolutionary government.
