Vice President condemns threats from “Uribe narco-paramilitarism”

He asserted that Venezuela, in national unity, will never allow “such criminals” to appropriate the popular will.

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, rejected the claims of the Colombian “narcoparamilitarism” led by Álvaro Uribe Vélez that seeks to violate the territorial integrity of the country.

In a message posted on his Telegram channel, Rodríguez argued that “the Uribe narcoparamilitarism that has plunged our sister Colombia into unprecedented violence and disturbed the political system due to narcotic relations intends to threaten the peace and tranquility of Venezuela.”

Furthermore, he emphasized that the Venezuelan people spoke strongly in rejection of the claims to violate territorial sovereignty by Álvaro Uribe and “his local allies of extremist fascism led by a deranged woman and a stateless puppet,” in reference to the opponents María Corina Machado. and Edmundo González Urrutia.

The senior State official asserted that Venezuela, in national unity, will never allow “such criminals” to appropriate the popular will or occupy the political spaces that should be at the service of democracy, peace and development.

“In the voice of the commander [Hugo] Chávez we respond to these criminals and cowardly vermin! “Venezuela will remain at peace!” he concluded.
