The Vice Minister of Commerce and Industries of Panama (MICI), Juan Carlos Sosa, made a tour of South Korea to expose the opportunities that the country offers in terms of investment in order for Korean companies to continue expanding their presence in the Isthmus, to through the Special Regime for the Establishment and Operation of Multinational Companies.
Sosa met with South Korean Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum to strengthen trade relations between the two countries.
He also held a bilateral meeting with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Jong Kun Choi, where the need to facilitate trade relations was raised, with Panama being Korea’s first commercial partner in Central America.
The vice-minister explained on the Mundo Arirang television channel the opportunities that the country brings to this region of Asia, also participated in the Special Round Table between Korea and Central America and visited the facilities of the National Agrobiodiversity Center to raise the possibility of establishing agreements on agricultural technology cooperation.
