Vice Minister of Employment and Pensions, Flor Salazar, resigned from the position

The Ministry of Labor confirmed this Friday the resignation of the vice minister of employment and pensions, Flor Esther Salazar. His departure is added to that of the Vice Minister of Mines, Belizza Ruiz, who left office in the midst of a controversy with Minister Irene Vélez.

Salazar, who is also part of the board of Colpensionspresented his resignation letter to the Minister of Labor, Gloria Ines Ramirez, This Thursday, February 2.

For now, the reasons for his departure are not known.

It should be noted that the National Government, headed by the Ministry of Labor, has been advancing projects for a pension and labor reform, which, according to what has been said, the president expects to be presented on March 16.
