The Ministry of Labor confirmed this Friday the resignation of the vice minister of employment and pensions, Flor Esther Salazar. His departure is added to that of the Vice Minister of Mines, Belizza Ruiz, who left office in the midst of a controversy with Minister Irene Vélez.
Salazar, who is also part of the board of Colpensionspresented his resignation letter to the Minister of Labor, Gloria Ines Ramirez, This Thursday, February 2.
For now, the reasons for his departure are not known.
