Morena in the Chamber of Deputies considered it viable to eliminate constitutional immunity (jurisdiction) that protects legislators, so that it is not used as a shield in the commission of crimes, but maintain the essence of that historical figure, so that they are not reconvened or persecuted by their votes, political positions or expressions.
The Constitutional Point Commission will review the viability of the initiative presented since March in that regard, said the group coordinator, Ricardo Monreal Ávila, at a press conference.
