The reigning champion and current leader of Formula 1, Max Verstappen, will start this Sunday from pole position at the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix that will be held at the Zandvoort circuit for the fifteenth date of the official calendar.
The race will be held from 10:00 in Argentina with Star+ television for 72 laps on a 4,259-kilometre circuit.
The first Red Bull midfielder was ahead by thousandths of the Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), who will accompany him on the first starting line, from second place.
The other Ferrari of the Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr. entered in third place, ahead of the British and six-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, with Mercedes.
In the third row were the Mexican Sergio Pérez (Red Bull) and the British George Russell (Mercedes).
Verstappen achieved his 17th. pole position in F1, for the second consecutive year in the GP of his country, which returned to the international calendar last year after its previous edition in 1985.
The Dutchman will be looking to repeat the 2021 win to further stretch his World Championship lead, which he leads by 93 points clear of teammate “Checo” Pérez.
