Government of Minas opens public consultation on highway concession

The PSTU candidate for the Presidency of the Republic Vera Lúcia defended today (23) the free public transport services.Vera Lúcia defends free and quality public transport

According to her, the service would also have to be provided with quality, fulfilling what would be a “constitutional right”. For her, the way to guarantee this right would be through the nationalization of transport companies and the expropriation of banks.

“Access to quality public transport is a constitutional right that, like others, is not guaranteed. In Brazil, public transport is generally a disaster, very expensive and of poor quality”, said the candidate through her Twitter account.

Next, Vera proposes the construction of subways in large cities, in an expanded form and incorporated into the public works plans necessary for the country; and the “nationalization of all transport companies”, in order to make this type of service free of charge.

“This complete change in the transport services in the country will be financed with the expropriation of the banks, which profit billions at the expense of the misery of our people”, he added.

During the morning of this Tuesday, the candidate gave an interview to the newspaper Monitor Mercantil. The forecast is that tomorrow Vera will fulfill her schedule in Rio de Janeiro.
