On Saturday night, September 6, political and human rights organizations denounced arbitrary detention and forced disappearance of the four members of the Guillén family, which occurred between this September 4 and 5, 2025, in the Carabobo state.

As detailed Committee for the freedom of political prisonersthe Bolivarian National Police entered without a court order to the family’s home, located in Paso Real, and took Miriam Fernández and their grandson Miguel Ángel Guillén.

The next day – as Familyiar explained – Miguel was forced to call his sister Chantal to go to the PNB headquarters in the Esmeralda. She appeared with her daughter Nicole, two years old, and both were arrested without any justification.

In Venezuela, until August 26, the Criminal Forum Organization had accounted for 816 political prisoners, among which are four teenagers detained in the context of the after -electoral protests of July 28, 2024.
