The temporary certificate of the PPT can be obtained through the Unique Registry of Venezuelan Migrants (RUMV) number, the number of the identity document with which the registration was made and the date of birth
Migration Colombia reported that Venezuelans who have not been able to obtain the Temporary Protection Permit (PPT) may have the PPP Procedure Certificate, which will allow them to access different services of the Colombian State.
The document will allow Venezuelans residing in Colombia to access the services offered by the State and private institutions, it will also allow them to stay, be transported and enter and leave Colombian territory temporarily, published The opinion.
The certificate will also demonstrate to the Colombian authorities that the Venezuelan citizen is in the process of accessing the PPT.
“The certificate is a transitory measure that we implemented in response to the failures that we found in the process of generating and delivering the PPT and that have been going on since 2021. Our objective is to guarantee the rights of those who started this process,” said the Director of Migration, Fernando Garcia Manosalva.
The certificate can be obtained through the Unique Registry of Venezuelan Migrants (RUMV) number, the number of the identity document with which the registration was made and the date of birth.
The new document is free of charge and can be downloaded from any computer or cell phone with an Internet connection. The certificate will be valid until April 30.
