A group of 11 Venezuelan citizens were detained by inspectors from the National Immigration Service, when it was found that they were carrying passports with fraudulent Schengen visas.
There were four minors in the group. The authorities made the respective consultation with the European Union liaison, who, through its verification system, confirmed that the visas do not appear in their records.
These people arrived in Panama from Caracas, Venezuela, on a connection to Mexico, when the inspectors detected anomalies in their visas. They were sent to carry out the corresponding procedure.
