In the states of Trujillo, Monagas and Miranda, the different sectors of the country spoke out to demand the release of President Nicolás Maduro and the first combatant, Cilia Flores.

In the state of Trujillo, nearly 900 students from the National Experimental University of Security (UNES), together with representatives of the Venezuelan Federation of University Students (FVEU) and the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV), spoke out in rejection of the interventionist actions of the United States government, as well as demanding the return of President Nicolás Maduro and the first combatant Cilia Flores.

During the meeting, held at the UNES facilities, the university youth debated the so-called multiform war and the threats that seek to destabilize the peace of the country. The participants ratified their unrestricted support for the presidential couple, demanding an end to international aggression.

The activity was supervised by the dean of the nucleus, C/J Robert Andrade Ramírez, who highlighted the role of youth in the defense of the nation. “This meeting encourages young people to guarantee popular democracy and to remain at the forefront of socialism as combative and consistent youth of the revolutionary process,” said Andrade.

Finally, the university community ratified its determination and demanded the lifting of the coercive measures that weigh on the Venezuelan State and its leaders.

In Monagas, students and former mayors spoke out

More than 24,000 students from higher education institutions in the state of Monagas spoke out to demand the freedom of the constitutional president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the first combatant Cilia Flores, after spending 17 days of the vile kidnapping by the United States.

According to the member of the Venezuelan Federation of University Students (FVEU), Simón Jiménez, “today the entire university sector joins the will of the revolutionary Venezuelans who firmly believe in the president.”

Likewise, the former revolutionary mayors spoke out to express their overwhelming support for constitutional president Nicolás Maduro and the first combatant, Cilia Flores.

Humberto González, former mayor of the Cedeño municipality, acting as spokesperson for the group, emphasized that this action represents a flagrant violation of international rights and the investiture of the head of state.

«We demand the release of our national dignitary. He is the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. “What we are experiencing is an unprecedented outrage and a direct violation of the treaties that govern coexistence between nations,” he stated.
