The next time I come with my dog and you discriminate against me, then I’m going to get the conc… Shit monkeys… You should be eating bananas in the trees” were some of the insults that the man shouts at Venezuelans in the video.
Darwin Reyes, one of the Venezuelans attacked tells Tele 13 how the events happened and confirms that he was also physically attacked with kicks and a blow.
Reyes ends the interview with his interview stating: “I am very powerless because of this fact. Wanting to get out of here, leave the country, be with my family. In fact, it was the first thing I told my partner, that I’m leaving.”

From the Of. of Migrant Persons of @muninunoa we make ourselves available to support and contain those affected, ”says the mayor in a Tweet on her @EmiliaRiosS account.
The Chilean goalkeeper, who currently resides in Spain, also showed his outrage on the social network Twitter through his account @C1audioBravo: “For all immigrants like me and my family, don’t believe that all Chileans are like that. I apologize to the attacked workers, on behalf of those of us who believe in humanity. Let’s be people, Empathy”.
In the social networks it transpired that the young workers filed the complaint with the Chilean police and the company itself, but that they have not received answers.
don’t remember that
The man identified as Carlos Cartagena apologized and in a conversation with Chile’s Tele 13 channel justified himself by saying that he had drunk more than he should have. He also points out that he has received threats against him and his dog.
“On Sunday I had a very bad day in personal terms, I have had very complex situations lately and that day I exceeded the drinks, I drank more than I should,” he explains.
“I came to buy with my dog, there was a sign and I didn’t even realize that you couldn’t enter with pets, as I was well past drinks, I overreacted, disoriented. There are no words to describe her. I don’t even remember that,” she adds.
“I came to apologize to the young man here for how he had treated him, because he does not correspond under any circumstances. The truth is that I have no words to say the stupid thing I did (…) I didn’t even realize anything. I delete. I’m ashamed, that’s why I came in the morning to apologize to the young man,” Carlos insists in the interview.
Through the social networks of Twitter and Instagram, hundreds of users question the actions of the representatives of the Oxxo Chile stores and point out that they have been blocked from their platforms after speaking about it. Instagram disabled the account shortly after.
The chain of stores published a statement repudiating this type of act and they assure that they will take legal action against those responsible. Finally, they asked the collaborators not to issue public comments on the fact.
