Venezuelan shot to death in Lleida, Colombia

Venezuelans Nilson José Piña Aguilar (21) and Daiver Manuel Gómez Yepes (18) were attacked with firearms by two men on a motorcycle with closed helmets, who intercepted them and viciously shot them.

The local media that review the event indicate that the Venezuelan Nilson Piña arrived without vital signs at the Reina Sofía Hospital in Spain with a shot to the head.

For his part, the other Venezuelan Daiver Gómez has a neck wound. He was taken on a motorcycle to the emergency center of the aforementioned health center, where they stabilized him and transferred him to a higher level hospital.

The event occurred in the Brisas de Coloya neighborhood, in the municipality of Lérida in the department of Tolima, on Saturday night.

Units of the Sijín Criminal Investigation Section of the Tolima Police traveled to the scene to investigate what happened and carry out urgent actions. At the moment the reasons why they attacked the Venezuelans with bullets are unknown.
