This Sunday, the Venezuelan Red Cross reported in a statement that the National Government invited it to accompany the release process, after the approval of the Amnesty Law for Democratic Coexistence by the National Assembly.
The information was made known through a publication on their official account on the social network Instagram, where they indicate that they will be offering medical care and primary health evaluation to the people who are being released throughout the national territory, “in strict adherence to our fundamental principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality and independence.”
Likewise, it points out that “we act without any distinction for political, religious, social or any other reason,” the letter states.
“The Red Cross is here for everyone, without discrimination, reaffirming our commitment to the protection of life, health and human dignity,” the text concludes.
