Through their social networks, the Minister of Defense of Venezuela, Vladimir Padrino López, reported that, under orders from the president Nicholas Madurowill establish communications with the Colombian Defense Minister Iván Velásquez Gómezto resume bilateral military relations.
“I have received instructions from commander in chief of the FANB (Bolivarian National Armed Force), Nicolás Maduro, to establish immediate contact with the Colombian Minister of Defense to restore our military relations”, Padrino Lopez said.
