It is the second time in less than a week that the Venezuelan Embassy in Mexico reports the suspension of the process to process passports due to “technical problems” of the Saime platform
The Venezuelan embassy in Mexico informed -through its official Twitter account- that due to technical problems in the platform of the Administrative Service of Identification, Migration and Immigration (Saime) will not be able to serve citizens who had assigned appointments to collect data in order to process passports, this Monday, June 27, and that will be rescheduled for the next few days.
It is the second consecutive week in which the Embassy reports the suspension of passport procedures. On Wednesday, June 22, they reported that they had suspended attention to citizens who had appointments assigned between June 21 and 23, on that occasion it was due to an electrical failure.
