A delegation from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela participated in the International Forum dedicated to the Year of Peace and Trust, held in the city of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan; The meeting brought together heads of state and representatives of various nations with the purpose of promoting dialogue and international cooperation.
During the intervention of the representatives in Venezuela, they reiterated their position in favor of peace and respect for the principles of sovereignty, self-determination of peoples, non-intervention in internal affairs and peaceful resolution of controversies; They highlighted the importance of strengthening multilateral mechanisms to guarantee international justice.
Likewise, they denounced the impact of unilateral coercive measures and warned about the threat that the actions of the United States government against the country represent for the Caribbean region. In this sense, a call was made to the international community to express solidarity and avoid greater risks of destabilization.
At the close of the Forum, participants agreed that peace constitutes an essential value based on justice, equality and respect among nations, which reaffirms the commitment to move towards a more balanced and cooperative international order.
It is important to highlight that this event was headed by the president of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and was attended by the leaders of Russia, Türkiye, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, who addressed issues related to regional stability and the construction of global consensus.
