The Investigative Police Chili (PDI) confirmed the appearance of a Venezuelan woman who was kidnapped last Saturday in the middle of a robbery at the “Sweet World” pastry shop, located in the Providencia commune in Santiago de Chili.
The Chilean police, through a message on their Twitter account @PDI_CHILE, indicated that the Venezuelan was released in the commune of San Bernardo and that she is in good health.
They also reported that “detectives continue the investigation to find those responsible for the incident.”
According to a report from CNNChile The alleged robbery with kidnapping occurred specifically in the “Sweet World” business premises, located on Vicuña Mackenna and Passy streets.
Transcends in social networks and media Chileans that the Venezuelan woman and her husband were attending the premises when at around 8:00 p.m. a group of at least eight subjects arrived in two vehicles without license plates and broke into the place.
In the Chilean premises a struggle would have originated that ended up taking the Venezuelan woman by force in one of the vehicles.
According to witness testimony, the subjects also tried to kidnap the Venezuelan woman’s husband and that he received a blow from a pistol.
