The Venezuelan ambassador to Iran, José Silva Aponte, presented this weekend the letter that accredits him as the country’s representative, before the president of Iran, Ebrahim Raisin.
Through the Twitter account of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, It was detailed that, during the delivery of the letters, the greeting was extended by President Nicolás Maduro.

delivered today his Letters of Credence to the Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisin, who during his words sent his regards to Pdte. @NicolasMaduro wishing him every success,” the Foreign Ministry wrote on the social network.
The Venezuelan ambassador, later, reiterated his willingness to work to consolidate relations between the two nations, as well as promote the strategic agenda that has been built between the countries.
“With the utmost conviction, I reiterate my dedication and willingness in this mission, to consolidate, reinforce and reaffirm the strategic development agenda promoted by our President @NicolásMaduro, of these great sister nations, Iran and Venezuela, WE CONTINUE TO WIN!”, he stressed.
Venezuela and Iran have signed different agreements to promote development in various areas, including science and technology.
In November of last year, they signed agreements for educational training, nanotechnology, biotechnology, petrochemistry, probiotics, dosimetry, radiology, fiber optics, social data analysis, among others.
