“I think we can do many things in the years to come,” he said and assured that in 2022 a set of initiatives will be resumed to reactivate the aid mechanisms between the two regions, politically and economically.
During an exclusive interview with the Al Mayadeen television network, the president announced that he will soon travel to Iran, in response to an invitation from President Ebrahim Raisi, to meet him personally.
“We have agreed on a set of new plans, the joint commission between the two countries is working,” he said.
In the same way, he exhorted to support and accompany the causes of countries such as Palestine, Syria and Iran itself, victims of daily crimes, murders of children and young people.
“No one in this world would dare ask us to abandon the cause of Palestine. We would not accept, it would be a sin to think of leaving the Palestinian people alone (…) We are with you and we will not disappoint you, ”he said.
On the other hand, he ratified his support for the Syrian people and its president Bashar al-Assad, whom he described as “a hero and a brave man who has had to endure the crimes of a war.”
Maduro assured that the Syrian Army together with his people and al-Assad are going to make the country flourish again and the Arab world will be surprised.
Meanwhile, he praised the loyalty that characterized the Iranian general Qassem Suleimani, whom he had the opportunity to meet after his support for the Bolivarian Revolution.
The head of state, during the interview, also denounced that the United Nations (UN) tried on several occasions to ignore the legitimacy of his government, in favor of the United States and as a result of the pressure exerted by the White House about some countries.
