The Human Rights Committee of Vente Venezuela (VV), a party led by the opponent María Corina Machado, warned that The health of three political prisoners –Perkins Rocha, Juan Iriarte and Marianela Ojeda– It is at risk. The organization requires them to release them so that they can “heal in dignity.”
Through the social network X, the VV Human Rights Committee detailed the criticisms of each:
- Perkins Rochalawyer of the main opposition coalition arrested in August 2024, has a brain valve due to previous pathologies such as hydrocephalus and cerebral tuberculosis. Despite having precautionary measures, it is isolated in the helicoid (headquarters of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service – Sebin in Caracas) and without access to your personal doctor.
