Venezuela will promote geopolitical agenda in the face of imperial hegemonies

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, called on the entire country to be attentive to the international activities that will take place from the Venezuelan State to the world, due to their geopolitical relevance, starting this Tuesday.

«Good morning, Venezuelan people and the world that follows me on social networks! I invite you to be attentive to the agenda of international activities that we will have in the next few hours. It will be of interest and geopolitical importance », specified the Head of State, through his account on the social network Twitter.

This Monday, the National President, in a conference with the Vice Presidents of the Government, stressed that the country must be in tune with world geopolitics, for which he expressed the importance of developing an international agenda in the midst of hegemonic actions and imposition policies of coercive sanctions by the United States (USA).

In this sense, he reiterated his rejection of the US exclusion act against Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela in the Summit of the Americaswhich takes place from June 6 to 10 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, California.

He called for convening a summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), of the greatest interest to the peoples of America, where US President Joe Biden will attend as a guest.

“It will have to be CELAC, President Alberto Fernández, it will have to be the Community of Latin American States that convenes with an agenda of prioritized issues and of maximum interest to our people, where the 33 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean go, and be invited President Joe Biden,” he said.

“It will be a way to start a new path, as President (of Mexico) López Obrador proposed today in the reflections he has been making. A new body where all the countries of our America participate, “said the president during a meeting of the Council of Vice Presidents.

Courage AMLO

The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, finally announced this Monday that he would not participate in the Summit of the Americas, because not all the countries of the region were invited.

Faced with this decision, the Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his “admiration for the clarity and courage” of the president of Mexico, who also stressed that he is committed to “changing the policy that has been imposed for centuries.”
