This Monday, Venezuela is preparing to participate in the 32nd Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC countries.
With regard to the celebration of this meeting, the Minister of People’s Power for Petroleum, Tareck El Aissami, assures that “this work discipline of the member countries, of this declaration of cooperation, has allowed us to circumvent and overcome all adversities”.
In this sense, the minister affirms that, despite the continuous policies of economic sanctions against Russia, which have deepened the world energy crisis, OPEC+ has managed to stabilize the oil market.
It should be noted that this Ministerial Meeting is the second to be held under the presidency of Haitham Al Ghais, from Kuwait, the new secretary general of OPEC, who began to perform his duties on August 1.
