The Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, thanked the people of Bilbao and Gambia for their support for peace and prosperity in Venezuela, following the elections of July 28, which resulted in the victory of President Nicolás Maduro for the constitutional period 2025-2031.
In a show of brotherhood and support for the Bolivarian Revolution process at an international level, hundreds of people from these towns offered their support, warm congratulations and best wishes to President Maduro and the Venezuelan people.
The President of the Republic of Gambia, Adama Barrow, in his letter sent to the President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that “this re-election is a testament to the confidence in your leadership and the vision to continue the course along the path you set for your country and achieve more social progress and economic prosperity.”
The people of Bilbao also demanded respect for the election results of 28 July and recognition of President Nicolás Maduro as the true winner of Venezuela.
