Venezuela thanks Iran for support against US interference

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his gratitude for the words of support expressed by the spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmaeil Baqaeien, against the interference of the United States Government, reported the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yvan Gil. through a publication on his Telegram channel.

In it, he noted that the Government of the North American nation intends to repeat failed strategies of the past and assured that Iran and Venezuela will continue united in their fight for a world based on peace and justice.

Baqaeien’s publication on social networks expresses that Iran rejects any foreign interference in Venezuela and considers that such actions violate international norms and undermine peace in the region.

Furthermore, it denounces US interference in Venezuela, which seeks to destabilize the country and undermine its democracy; reiterates its support for the legitimate government of the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, and condemns the illegal sanctions that affect the Venezuelan people.
