Venezuela strengthens cooperation ties with the world

In the context of the II Antalya Diplomatic Forum, which takes place in Turkey, the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Affairs, Félix Plasencia, held bilateral meetings with senior officials from countries such as Somalia, Singapore, Suriname, Turkey, Sierra de León , among others.

In this regard, Plasencia had the opportunity to share with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdisaid Muse Ali, and the Chief Minister of the Ministry of State for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, Sim Ann.

Likewise, the highest representative of Venezuelan diplomacy held a fruitful working day with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Suriname, Albert Ramdin, and with his counterpart from the Republic of Sierra Leone, David J Francis.

With these meetings, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela pays tribute to the strengthening of its foreign policy of Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace, and its premises that revolve around cooperation, complementarity and the defense of multilateralism are strengthened.

Once again Venezuela becomes a benchmark, for being a country that has defended the banner of diplomacy, during the years of the Bolivarian Revolution, the defense of sovereignty and self-determination of peoples; and it is precisely the diplomatic issue that occupies this second forum with the slogan “Recodification of Diplomacy”, according to a press release from the Ministry of Communications.

This second edition of the forum in Antalya began this Friday with discussion panels that have been followed by opening speeches by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

The forum will also be accompanied by several discussion panels until this Sunday, where prominent participants will discuss a wide range of topics related to international affairs and geopolitics.

Democratic governance, leadership and diplomacy, energy security, the fight against racism and discrimination, irregular migration, the security review in Europe, climate change and the energy transition, the green economy and the empowerment of women are also among the topics of debate at this international event.
