The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela designated in Senegal, Regzeida Gonzálezheld a bilateral meeting with his Pakistani counterparts, Saima Sayed; and from Egypt, Asif Ali Zardarirespectively, in order to strengthen solidarity, as well as diplomatic relations with these friendly countries.
In an atmosphere of brotherhood and respect for the fundamental principles of the self-determination of peoples and equality, the meeting prevailed in which the diplomats addressed different topics, as well as celebrated the re-election of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moroscarried out on July 28, for the constitutional period 2025-2031.
In her visit program, Ambassador González met with her counterpart from the Arab Republic of Egypt, Khaled Aref, with whom she spoke about the excellent bilateral relations, particularly the visits of the Venezuelan authorities to the city of Cairo, and the relations of the Bolivarian nation, not only with Senegal, but also with the countries of Cape Verde and Gambia, among other African countries.
It is worth noting that after the electoral victory of Commander Hugo Chávez Frías in 1998, a boost in communication and the bilateral agenda began with African nations that acquired a new level of cooperation and exchange in the political, economic and cultural spheres, under the principles of Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy, which promotes the construction of a multicentric and pluripolar world.
