Venezuela signs technical cooperation with UNDP

The Minister of Industries and National Production, José Biomorgi, and the deputy representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for Venezuela, Rosicler Gómez Mackliff, signed an international technical cooperation agreement in order to promote the productive sector in the country .

The cooperation will address the application of a joint strategy that will help the technical assistance programs of the industrial portfolio in strengthening the capacities of entrepreneurs and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), reported Prensa Latina.

Also, the document highlights that the UNDP will implement a transfer process of developed methodologies, with the aim of consolidating the business management capacities of MSMEs and entrepreneurships.

It is important to mention that UNDP in Venezuela is carrying out a program called “Support for strengthening social and productive resilience in the face of the effects of covid-19”, which provides direct technical assistance, in order to strengthen the business management of the companies and business development.
