The official covid-19 statistics for Sunday left 16 states out of the list with new patients. There are 916 active cases of the virus, of which 804 are in home isolation
Vice President Delcy Rodríguez published in Twitter the statistics corresponding to the behavior of covid-19 in Venezuela during the day of Sunday, September 25, 2022; in which 75 new infections were reported in the country, of which five arrived in the country.
Passengers from Spain (3) and Panama (2) were detected by health workers at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía.
On the other hand, the 70 cases of community transmission reported in the bulletin were detected in eight of the 24 federal entities in the country; Mérida being the one that led the list of the last 24 hours by reporting 45 cases in six municipalities: Santos Marquina (16), Libertador (14), Campo Elías (8), Sucre (5), Rangel (1) and Miranda (1). )
The state of Mérida was followed by Yaracuy (9), Capital District (5), Zulia (4), Miranda (3), Vargas (2), Amazonas (1) and Nueva Esparta (1).
The states of Táchira, Trujillo, Apure, Lara, Falcón, Portuguesa, Cojedes, Barinas, Carabobo, Aragua, Guárico, Bolívar, Anzoátegui, Monagas, Delta Amacuro and Sucre were left out of the list.

The official report published by Rodríguez for the day of September 25, 2022 increased the total number of cases of the virus that Venezuela reports daily. In this sense, 924 days after the detection of the first infections on March 13, 2020, a total of 544,525 and 537,792 recovered patients are reported, which according to official data represents a 99% overcoming of the disease.
There are currently 919 active cases of covid-19 in the country according to the statistics released by the authorities, of which 47 are treated in the public network of hospitals; 27 in the Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), 41 in private clinics and 804 people who are in home isolation or “supervised community care”.
During the last 24 hours, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez did not report deaths from covid-19; which keeps the total number of deaths from this disease stable at 5,814.
